This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Area Restrita, developed by Márcio Reis, handles user data and privacy.

1. Authentication and Identification

The application Area Restrita prioritizes the privacy and security of your personal data:

• Email Address: Collected exclusively when you choose to sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication). Your email is used solely as a technical identifier for cloud backup and synchronizing your game progress across multiple devices.
• What we DO NOT collect from Google: The application does not collect, store, or use your real name or your Google profile picture.

2. Game Progress Data (Cloud & Local)

To enable offline gameplay and cloud synchronization via Google Cloud Firestore, we store the following technical game data linked to your account:

• In-Game Profile: Your custom nickname (e.g., `Agent #4821`), the circular avatar selected within the game, and your chosen country code for the flag.
• Economy & Upgrades: Current coin balance, total lifetime coins collected, and upgrade tiers (lives, fence speed, guidance line, etc.).
• Stats & Records: High scores per theme and overall season totals.
• Settings: Visual effect preferences (damage flash and particle effects) and unlocked game themes.

3. Public Display on the Global Leaderboard

The Global Leaderboard allows players worldwide to compare scores. The only pieces of information publicly displayed on the leaderboards are:

• Your custom in-game nickname.
• The avatar icon/picture selected inside the game.
• The country flag chosen in your profile.
• Your high score for the theme or overall ranking.

Privacy Guarantee: Your email address, coin balance, upgrade levels, and private settings are never publicly visible or shared with third parties.

4. Analytics and Usage Metrics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand player engagement, balance level difficulty, and detect technical glitches and stability issues, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google LLC:

• Gameplay Events: We log in-game actions, such as level starts, victories, or defeats, tutorial completion or skips, scores achieved, percentage of captured area, fences drawn, upgrades purchased with virtual game coins, and theme unlocking/selection.
• Device and Technical Information: Standard pseudonymous identifiers (such as the Firebase Analytics instance ID), device model, Android OS version, screen resolution, language, and approximate geographic region (country/state level) are processed.
• General Profile Properties: Aggregated parameters including maximum level reached, active theme, and Google authentication status.

Purpose and Privacy: Analytics data is aggregated and used exclusively for ongoing gameplay improvements and technical diagnostics. 5. Local Storage and Offline Play

A local copy of your progress is stored on your mobile device using local storage preferences. This allows you to enjoy the game seamlessly without an active internet connection. Once your connection is reestablished, your high scores and progress automatically synchronize with the cloud.

6. Security

Cloud data is protected by Google's secure Firebase infrastructure and guarded by strict Firestore Security Rules. Only you, authenticated with your account, can access or update your private game data.

7. Children's Privacy and Data Deletion

Area Restrita does not intentionally collect information from children. The game is rated suitable for all ages and focuses purely on strategic and puzzle gameplay.

You maintain complete control over your account, data, and privacy. You can delete your account and remove all your data at any time:

• In the App: Open your Profile in the game and tap "Delete Account & Data".
• On the Official Website: Visit our dedicated Account and Data Deletion page to request deletion online.

Deletion from active databases (Firebase Auth and Firestore) is immediate, and residual operational backups are fully purged within 30 days.
